Gwanghwamun Gate greeted us with its majestic presence, standing tall at the entrance to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Its curved rooftops and bold stone base felt like a portal to Korea’s royal past.

We watched the ceremonial Changing of the Guard, where performers in traditional uniforms marched with precision. The drums, colors, and choreography brought history to life right before our eyes.

Beyond the gate, we explored Gyeongbokgung Palace. Courtyards, throne halls, and quiet gardens unfolded in every direction. The blend of ancient architecture and mountain views was breathtaking.
